I've been trickle charging the 110 amp battery (purchased Feb '08) by means of a Solar Charge Controller & 43 watt panel. The controller shows the battery as holding a 14 volt charge BUT the LED readout on the controller is only 91%! Have I got problems, or is the battery fully charged? (The Controller instruction recommends the controller to be no more than 2 meters away from the battery, but I wanted the controller located in the upper locker for ease of access v the bed box!)
The Controller is approximately 4 meters away from the battery so could it be showing a 91% charge due to voltage drop?
Advice/explanation warmly welcomed!
