 hi

Ive been given a propane  6kg total gas bottle i took it for replacement and the supplier said calor gas has taken over most gases but not total !!

so  does any one know if this bottle will t be ok for my caravan ( providing i can find a supplier to get a refill ) i would need a regulator as well so would i  stil be able to buy one

ive never used propane before just butane in fact am new to caravaning too lol

Just done a trawl through the internet and it would appear that Total Gas are part of a Company named Flogas.

Flogas are one of the big suppliers of butane and propane to the Caravan community and I do not feel that you will have any problems in swapping your cylinder for a full one when the time comes,

I would assume that your cylinder has a female outlet just below the on/off valve and that will correspond with regulaters still being sold today (if it isn't report back with a description and we'll take it from there)

The good news is that with a correctly fitted reg. you will be able to use your gas in winter becaused propane continues to work even when the temperatute plummets. Something that Butane cannot do.

ive just looked at the bottle it does have a female below  the on off value

 ive been looking on the net for toal gas and its total gaz which could explain why i couldn;t find it lol
