Hello its the 1st time i have posted on here, but i would like to know if anyone knows of a link that i can write a reveiw to do with bad storage site and there poor customer care. We have sited our caravan on 2 storage sites now, and both have been a dissapointment. The 1st site our van was damaged and the second our caravan was squeezed in so much that we couldnt open our door and struggled to get the legs down, then when we said we were leaving, they refused to give us our £100 pounds deposit back. After much arugment our deposit was refunded, but we didnt part on happy terms.
You may say you get what you pay for, but both sites cost around £400 a year and the second site was a registered Gold Cassoa site. I hate complaining, but our caravan is a way to be together as a family (as im sure it your pride and joy for the same or other reasons) and to leave it with people that really dont give two hoots about it, kind of upsets me abit.
I just feel that there should be a place i could write my reveiws, on the positive and negative, just as we can do with camp sites.
I don't think there is a place for you to do a review on storage sites on here and tbh I've never heard of anywhere else that does it. With regards to the Cassoa site have you thought of complaining to Cassoa direct as they give the rating to the site, so if things have changed since they gave the award the site.

Personally i do not think the Cassoa ratings are what they are cracked up to be.
I wont mention sites but a gold standard one i went to enquire at looked great at 1st glance.
Fairly long driveway away from the road then a heavy duty steel barrier locked out of opening hours, then a keycard operated set of tall gates.
All looked well, until the owner showed us where ours would be stored. At the rear was an open field. Nothing to stop the caravan being taken out that way except a very inadequate hedge if you could call it a hedge, It had enough gaps in it to fit a caravan through without making one scratch.
Ours was on a gold site, too, which was right beside a lorry park, which could have been used to get over the fence. I doubt if a van could have been taken out but people could certainly have got into them. It was also by a site of some sort where there was a lot of excavation going on and the van would get covered in red dust - I know that's not the site's fault, but it was annoying, especially if you didn't have facilities to wash it.
The vans were very closely parked and you had to be careful to park exactly in the middle otherwise you couldn't open the door. We were in the middle row but there was a young couple on the outside row with a twin axle van and they had all sorts of problems getting it in because it was such a tight turn.
I think you should complain about the Cassoa site definitely. Unfortunately insurance companies give discounts for using a Cassoa site although your van might be better off sited on a farm or something but they don't consider these to be so secure.
CASSOA don't give 2 hoots about complaints, they go on the security wise of the site, we had a problem with a CASSOA registered storage and when I phoned they said they couldn't do anything,
