HI all,

Is it alright to use my alko towball with other trailers or are the ball sizes different. I know that I need to get any oil or greese off after I use it before putting it back on the Alko hitch. Seems a real pian in the a** to change the ball over each time.

The standard hitch will fit an AlKo hitch, it's just the grease contamination that's the issue. I have seen people pulling caravans fitted with standard hitches off muddy pitches with 4x4s fitted with AlKo hitches and putting a plastic bag on the hitch to keep the grease off. I don't suppose the bag would work if you were going any real distance though, but it is worth a try.
