We can thoroughly recommend them - we had one for our previous caravan and have purchased another for our new one.  We bought both from Pro-tec - quite expensive at £300 each but would not hesitate to recommend them.  They really do work - keeping the exterior free from dust and grime and we have also noticed that the inside of the van is kept much cleaner as the dust blown up by high winds cannot penetrate windows etc.  It also seems to cut down on winter dampness - we do put in a couple of containers of salt but are convinced that the interior does keep much better with the cover on.  If undercover, inside storage is not available then this is most certainly the next best option.

Bought mine from Towsure.  Last winter I polished the van and put the cover on.  Circumstances prevented us from using the van for 7 months, when I took the cover off it was just as I'd left it. and the inside was dry.  I think the effects of rain and Freezing is what causes most of the damage to caravans especially the joints.  The cover goes a long way towards preventing this.  If I lost the cover tommorow I'd goe straight out and buy another.

As the two previous posts I would recommend a cover, my caravan is stored by Leylandi and they make a terrible mess.

just to put the opposite view.  I hate em.. I can imagine they are good if you have to park under trees. But also I imagine you have to beware of grit etc in between the van and the cover and what a chore to put on and take off. Certainly you dont see many in our storage place ( 1 actually) .

personal choice again

Mine became lodged with dust and dirt when it was stored on a farm.Bought the cover thinking it would protect it completely but all I got was a giant scouring pad.I have now got a new van and am lucky to have it stored in a clean undercover enviroment.I would not consider using a cover again unless I had to store her outside and it was completely grit free!It was a struggle for one person to fit and involved dragging it across the van...Not Good!
