Hi there,
In a bit of a quandry, my DH has rendered our family car unable to tow due to an accident. and we are due to take our crown regent off to norfolk for the bank holiday ! ! !
does anybody know of any Essex based car hire firms that hire cars out with towbars or of any other companies that deal with such problems, please help as I have been waiting for this holiday all summer arrrrgggghhhhhh

I know Hertz hire out Ford Rangers with tow bars.Problem is they are short of leg room in the back seats.

We had the same problem a few years ago. We ended up having to hire a transit van, as no one had any vehicles with towbars on them

Hi, try mitsubishi main dealers, im sure i read somewhere that they hire out vehicles with tow bars...

tried your suggestion thanks rabb no joy...... found one possible in kent problem is though, as a bank holiday they want over 300 quid for four days and may not have one anyway deep joy eh ???
ben offered a renault clio as a courtesy car !!!!!! a bit small me thinks plus no towbar i may start searching for a pony to pull it there hehe

A bargain. The only tow car my company could source was a LR Disco - that cost £600 for 4 days.
