We intend to carry on going out on trips in the winter and hopefully still be able to put the awning up. We went out and purchased a small (and cheap) oscillating fan heater yesterday. Now we are wondering if this will be enough. We practically live in our awning when we are away.

Does anyone use a form of heating, if so what? And do you find it warm enough.?

Surely if it is too cold for the awing then rather than heating the outside, you could sit inside your insulated van.

If you were metered on your electric use I'm not sure you would have a heater outside in your awning. Would you sit in the garden at home with a 3 bar fire at your feet?

Table top patio gas heater works pretty well and doesn't overload the site electrics as can happen when halogen/ fan heaters are hard at work in the winter months!
