Hi all
Just found out the hard way not to rely on a lightweight awning in bad weather, had a Scenic plus but the wind the other night (in the Lakes) blew the outside inwards into the van making it impossible to get out the door and ripped the skirt out of the pegs so confined it to the bin

. My question - what do folk think of Dorema as they do one with a `proper` frame and the right size for our van please?.

hi we have dorema awning and rate it highly but its a full one,as you say the porch will have a proper frame.suggest a storm strap too.

Hi, we have a Dorema porch awning for our Avondale Dart 545. We both think very higly of it. It has a proper frame and the the poles are heavy duty fibreglass. It is very easy to erect, and twice as easy to take down. I am very impressed with the build quality of the Dorema. I would also recommend the purchase of storm straps as the frame is free standing, and ties into the sides of the awning at the van end only

We have a Dorema Vitesse porch awning and very impressed with it. Easy to put up and doesnt take us long, big enough for all our table, chairs etc.
