Hi, We've just bought our first caravan which is a compass rallye. There is a pocket in the "front" door which I assume can fit a bin in it but it would have to be a bin with a lip at the back. does anyone know where I can get one from? I have seen others on sites with them but didn't pluck up the courage to ask where they  got them from.

Any help appreciated.

Welcome Ang1 to UKCS.. and congratulations on your new van..

Most caravan shops should have a selection of bins, this link will take to the selection that Towsure have. Oh I love shopping for accessories!

We have a door bin but are careful of what we place in it due to the weight on the hinges.

Thanks so much for your help, I've looked online and can't find anything that looks like it would fit and in the caravan shop nearest us they didnt have anything either. So I'm stumped as to exactly what I need to look for or what it would be called.

If you have any idea of exact names or model numbers or live inthe midlands and know a good stockist please let me know.

Good point about weight on the door hinges I hadn't thought about that!

The type we have is intended for using inside a home kitchen cupboard.  It is beige and slightly D shaped.  If I remember correctly we got it from Campbells at Kirkham.  Size is about 12" across and 16" deep, (pure guess as the van is in storage).  I think we paid around £10-15.  Anyway it works a treat and fits the caravan door perfectly.

We had the same problem with our Buccaneer Caravel, contact your local dealer because the Explorer Group also make Compass, Elddis, Buccaneer and Explore caravans, the door is pretty standard across their range but some have a pocket and others have a waste bin and they are interchangeable.
