Sorry to ask another question, we have an internal tank in our van, however if we don't want to use the internal tank and want to use the aqua roll, kept topped up with lead to mains water, how can we stop the pump from making a noise?

Do we have to keep switching the internal switch to off and only switch it on when we are going to use the water or is there a work around? I know we could fill  up the internal which means pump not on all of the time but we don't want to use this due to moving around and not wanting to dump lots of water each time due to weight etc.

Thanks so much for your help, as a novice to caravanning I'm having to learn a lot quickly.

i think the noise means its working :) ours always made a noise :)

i don't think its loud enough to annoy anyone though :)

It sounds like you need a pressure switch so when you open the tap , the pipe pressure drops and the switch sences this and turns the pump on .
see here . How this will work with a internal tank i'm not quite sure , unless you are bypassing the tank when using the aquaroll .
