Not sure. I know the latest Pageant range is the Pageant 7, but I think it didn't appear until about Easter. Why not visit the Bailey website - you may get an answer, or find somewhere to ask the question. I have found Bailey an excellent company and helpful customer service.
we were told that vans made from September onwards are classed as the next years model, so for example our van was made Dec 07 and is classed as an 08 model

from 1992 onwards As almost every manufacturer had a different numbering system, and to try to combat the growing number of caravan thefts, the Caravan Industry decided to adopt a universal numbering system . The VIN (Vehicle Identification Numbers) System has been employed from 1992 onwards.
The VIN system is a 17 character International Standard that specifies the content and structure of a vehicle identification number in order to establish, on a world-wide basis, a uniform identification numbering system for road vehicles and their trailers.
This 17 alpha-numeric code provides the following information:
Manufacturer & Country of origin
Single or Twin axle
Model year
Build number
The first part of a VIN is known as the WMI code (World Manufacturer Identifier) and comprises of three characters. The first two characters designate the country of origin and the type of product. The third character identifies the manufacturer and has been allocated by the National Caravan Council.
The WMI code for Carlight is SGC. The next character is either "S" or "T" which denotes either single (S) or twin (T) axle. The next three characters are all zeros on any Carlight Model. The next two characters are the N.C.C. manufacturers codes for Carlight which is CL. The next character shows the model year in accordance with the following VIN code:

The next four characters comprise of a number allocated by the factory; 2356, and then the build number makes up the last three characters. So for instance a VIN number of SGCS000CLT2356010 would show the caravan as a single axle 1996 model build number 10.
How this is determined is shown in more detail below, the relevant part of the VIN number being described is in red:
SGCS000CLT2356010
The caravan was built in the U.K. by Carlight
SGCS000CLT2356010
The caravan is a Single Axle
SGCS000CLT2356010
The caravan is a 1996 model.
SGCS000CLT2356010
The caravan was assembled as build number 10.
Hope this helps

The Series 7 came out in June 2008. We have a Series 6 Pageant that we bought new in April 2008, therefore she could have a 2008 Series 6 van.
As others have said the Caravan industry year starts in September so vans made after September 1st are then classed as the next years vans, e.g. van built Sept 2008 is classed as a 2009 van.
Have you seen her caravan? Have a look here http://www.caravanfinder.co.uk/ to compare and see if it's a series 6 or 7 you can tell by the upholstry it is different in the two models, also so are the graphics, compare the two.
As far as I am aware the 7 models came into production about July. it can be a series 6 but still bee a 2008.
If you are still in doubt, email the Bailey help line with the vin number.

Our S7 Burgundy was collected in Aug last year so must have been constructed about June. Series 7 has darker wood trim and different graphics, as per current Bailey website.
------------- DS-There's more to life than football!!!
Our 08 S7 Pageant had its Electrical test (there should be a dated sheet in your blue Bailey folder) in May 08, so they were building S7 models by May.
My understanding is that anything built after the shutdown in August 07 would be classed as a 08 model so it is entirely possible that a Pageant S6 could be an 08 model.
The only true way to find out the model year is by the CRIS number. From the info in Cathymac's post then an 08 model will have 8 after the 'BY' in the middle.
More importantly all the warranties start from the date of registration (and if it was a new van, then that will be the date of purchase) and Baileys have for a few years not made any difference to their vans by model year, instead making changes with the series changes.
if this is a 2008 model if you look at the cris number the tenth number will tell you whether it is 2007 or 2008 as the tenth number should be an 8 like cars the reistration date should tell you as cars have two release dates caravans do as well hope this helps you
