well i see everyones point think i was just being idle. but now a trifle worried with the frosts were having how safe is it over night whilst im using the van .i will be away 2 weeks nov and poss 1st week of dec.its got its original polystyrene jacket should i add extra. i know i will have heating on but i cant see it keeping the water heater warm.or do i leave hot water on is it ok to do.only switch on when hot water required.

If you are staying in the caravan you will be having the heating on a thermostat I imagine. This will protect the water tank/heater from frost. I personally do not like to leave the water heater on all the time.
