Just looking for some thoughts on this one, I have just got a second hand Trio awning but the centre rubber mount for the roof pole is missing from the canvas. My initial thought was to buy one of those rubber sucker things that go onto the van side but what do you guys thing of the wee brackets that screw onto the side of the van? Looking forward to your replies.

i have the hooks on mine. no problem.mine is also a trio.if you are missing just the rubber insert let me know where you are and i will send you one.

Do NOT think of perforating your outside skin. Your only asking for trouble.

Go to any caravan dealership and buy a replacement pad. We didn't like the "sucker" type and bought better hinged clamp type ones they only cost a couple of £'s

There are loads of different ones to suit every one

Many thanks for the replies, the pad is a rubber one that is stiched to the awning canvas so I thing that the only direct replcement would have to be stiched on. My Dad has the clamp type attachments which I do like, but my awning does not have the secondry bead required for these clamps so it looks like it will be a sucker for now.

I had to replace 2 on our second hand awning, intstead of stitching i superglued them and they have been fine this season.
