Can anyone suggest a good porch awning for us please?
I'm looking for:
very quick to erect
don't need to sit in it
suitable to store a crate of shoes, outdoor toys & bikes
I'm wondering whether something like the Omnistor roll out canopy, with sides fitted would be good? The most important point is that it's quick to erect. I was interested in the PDQ but having read posts on here, and spoken to owners, it doesn;t sound that good.
We have an outdoor revolution porchlite square £69,99 one pole and all you do is peg it, Lots of room in it and even came with a vernada pole to unzip front panel
Excellent quality, we also have the spacelite which we are als pleased with

For us, the perfect porch awning has to be an Isabella Snowboy. Its quick to erect, is durable in all weather conditions. Is capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, can be used all year round, if it gets wet it can still be packed up, and if perchance you do get a problem with it then being an Isabella, you can get parts or a repair easily. It will last a lifetime!
PS Check out e-bay, the CC magazine classifird - also on-line, and do a Google as you can often get a used one at a reasonable price
We have an easi porch by outdoor revolution see shop on this site. I can put it up on my own in about 10mins including pegging. There is only 1 steel pole, we have found it to be very stable.

The best you can afford from the Towsure range. It seems there is always a compromise, the bigger spacier jobs take that little bit longer, but give more pleasure in use. (I M O) The quick 'up in 10' are not usually big enough to swing the cat. I think you pays your money....
We have had a porchlite (like the one caz has shown) and we loved it easy to erect, easy to dry out if it is wet (just put it over washing line when we got home. Had to sell it and we got a the porchlite XL as the other one came over the window on our new van, again, like it for the same reasons......although when it snowed at easter we woke up in the morning and the roof was resting on the door with the weight of the snow, hubby squeeezed out and popped it up with no problem and all the snow fell off. I would add a piccy but I can't seem to master it.
Also got an NR porch and like that too, easy to put up, less pegs to put in than the other one but takes a little bit more drying out if wet.
We have a Sunn Camp Contempo awning - only two bendy poles then peg it out - it takes about 10 minutes to put up. Very roomy, three ways in, and plenty of space for bikes, boxes etc....
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
