Hi Eddie,

You may be right - however non food-grade plastics are allowed to have chemicals that are not too good for you, and often build up in your system - we are talking trace elements here. Used to develop plastics in a former life and often used to spend months trying to repeat the performance of the more toxic additives with additives that were acceptable in food grade. So always have a bit of a laugh when I see a bit of garden hose stuck on the stand pipe. It all depends on your exposure, so if you were using it day in day out over years the concern would be greater. When it comes down to it - " do you feel lucky ". Kevin
