Tyron bands were fitted as standard in our new van. If all they ever do is give me "peace of mind" when I am towing, then they are well worth the money.

We have them and wouldn't be without them. I think anything that would help stability etc in the case of a blow out must be worhwhile.

Our van is due its 1st service in September, we have decide to get the tyron bands fitted at the same time i think they said about £125. We decided to get them fitted after going away with the van to Scotland a few weeks ago and listening to the reports on the radio of 5 vans overturning on the M5, for the sake of a cost of a good night out i think it is worth adding the extra safety.
