Hi !, We are looking at purchasing a new vogue 2 650 and would like to know if anyone has any reviews about them such as build quality etc. This would be our 2nd van but our first twin wheeler, is there much of a difference in towing etc. I know our car (kia sedona 2.9tdi) can tow it but our first van (lunar premiere) was a lot lighter so maybe the husbands in for a shock.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Hi Trudy..we went up from a single axel to a twin axel and my partner..who is the driver..said it towed alot better..more stable..but obviously because the van is alot longer..you have to account for this....but no regrets what so ever..

Our van is an Abbey and we love it...

Sal :-)

Hi

Just changed to a twin wheeler after 21 years towing a single axle.
They seeem to tow well although I am limited to two outings 180 miles max journey. Certainly easier to reverse.
Just remember Abbey is a name that Swift is withdrawing and this might affect resale values and spares availability, I'm pleased I chose the Bailey, Abbey was the the other make we were looking at.

our first (current)caravan is a twin axle and I find because you have four points of contact with the road it doesn't swing from side to side any where near as much as a single axle especially when white van man or lorry come whizzing by!when you are behind either a single or a twin axle caravan just watch which ones move about the most!
