Hi folks
I am sorry for bringing up this old chestnut but has anybody got a twin axel van with a motor mover on it .I spoke to a bloke today and he said ' they aint worth the money mate' he had one on a twin axel bailey and said it was hopeless, apparently he had only one each side and was told he would need another two to do any good can anybody shed any light on this ,before i waste /spend my money on this.

HI BLUEDOG
have had twin axle for 2yrs have got 4 reich movers no problem at all.
personally would not advise just using 2 .
2 ok for single axle but not twin

I'd go as far as saying that the Truma TE is probably the best Twinny Mover on the market.
But that's just from experience of having seen so many different makes and models.

we have the Truma TE, it is a 2 motor type. it does what we need it to do (move van hitch first off road turning through 90 degrees and onto our driveway, and the reverse when going away)
we looked at the 4 motor models, but did not want to use 66kg plus of our payload so settled for the 33 kg 2 motor one. we also noted that some of the 4s have less ground clearance and can mean moving or losing the spare wheel carrier and the side lift jack brackets.------------- Jennifer
