Im hoping someone might have one of these old vans and know what size awning fits it - I have tried measuring the awning rail with string but just need reassurance im looking at the correct size awning before i take the plunge and buy one.

Hi what year is your caravan? 

I have looked in our 1993 Elddis caravan manual and the Whirlwind XL awning size stated in the book is 7510mm ground to ground. I can't imagine that the sizes of caravans changed every year, so if your caravan is of a similar age i would think that this would be the measurement your after.

familyof6......we have a 1985/6 Elddis Whirlwind and have 2 full awnings for her.....

An Isabella size 725...this one fits well but i think is slightly too small

An  NR Acrylic size 775.... this one is slightly too big

however both look ok when they are errected so i suppose a 750 would be prefect!!!
