i use http://www.caravanchris.co.uk/, he is based in Sc**thorpe. £140 for single and £180 for twin. Carried out at a place of your choice. Have used him for last 3 years with no problems.

Just had our van serviced at Discover York couple weeks ago about £200. However bought our Avondale from Glossops in Derbyshire 3yrs ago ,extended warranty with firm called Auto Protect.When I booked van in for service at York said no probs using Auto Protect if anything needed, we need new window seals at the front which should be covered under warranty but just had phone call from Discover saying they don`t `work` with Auto Protect and any warranty work should be done by purchasing dealer just trying to sort out at present. Warranty states any vat registered workshop ok for servicing so make sure any mobile guy complies with that if your warranty stipulates it!

I have phoned around all the agancies listed in the posts above but cant get booked in anywhere until May at earliest, that is not a problem as the van is not due until end of April,
I am about to contact Wandahome near Pontefract, their price is given as £177 for single axle including vat, but it depends how booked up they are, and if I hear any dodgy reports before then, not that I am expecting any, but who knows,

As for your predicament, at this time of the year any Workshop, Mobile or Dealer, that's worth it's Salt should be fully booked. If they're not fully booked then it's usually for a very good reason.
We are now taking bookings for May and many of our customers are also pre-booking their Services for March 2010.
So as a polite note, when we (mobiles/workshops) say that we have no appointments before May, we mean it.
