We have had a glorious day today here in Glossop although still a bit on the cold side, but for a while this afternoon, planting up my strawberry, lettuce and tomatoe plants i was in short sleeves. Boy my skin needs some sunshine!!

I hope everyone gets some good weather for the coming easter break. We are starting off for Scotland this Friday for 2 whole weeks and we can't wait! The thought of a good summer (like they used to be when we were kids?) is just what we all need isn't it?

Its a week today for us till our first trip out, this time next Sunday we'll be sitting n the awning enjoying a glass or 2 of wine after a delicious bbq.

Fingers crossed for no snow arriving, which stopped us going out in Feb as we couldnt get the van out of the storage yard.

Easter weekend is our first trip and we can't wait :)

Off on Saturday to Peak district, peace and quiet, just us and the dogs as long as it doesn't snow like last easter
