The new van we've got has sprung a leak.

At first i thought it was the push fit connectors, fitted new & still leaking.

Looks like it may be the shower tap itself.

Have got a plumbers spanner to remove & inspect. So what ive done is to connect the hot & cold pipes together.

Will this cause a problem? or do i need to blank them separately till i can replace the shower.

Its a coachman Pastiche 520/4 2000. End Bath with separate shower.

Jimmy

It sounds as if the cause might be frost in the shower head has craked it.  I had this problem on a previous van. I drained everything down but forgot to open the taps!

Having had another look it seems that it was an exsisting problem as the access cover to the rear of the shower had been removed.

I hadnt noticed before, its was only when i hooked the water up & it leaked. Thats when i noticed the screw holes ect for the access panel.

Im just glad we've had chance to check it through before we go away friday.

Any ideas on this?

Due to go away in the morning & not sure if this is an acceptable repair
