We have only recently become members of the C&CC and have a free one night voucher that we would like to use for a two night stay. I have noticed that you have to pay a dep of £25 and the total cost of the weekend is £28. Does this mean that we will be get a refund  when we arrive

Hiya Jan,

We had a simlar problem trying to work out the camping miles free night - here goes.  You book and pay 25 deposit, you turn up give them your voucher or card, they then pass it as paymeny and the difference ie:£3 is kept by the CC & C in a holding bank, so next time you book somewhere your reciept will say they have taken £25 deposit, but they will only take £22 out of your bank + the £3 in the holding bank.  Hope that helps.

I am also a member of the club and as i understand things yes you will get a refund when you arrive, the £25 is just the standard deposit.

We joined the C&CC at the Manchester Show and they were giving away a free one night voucher so as I never like to miss out on a bargain joined up there and then (and they were giving away a hessian bag for life as well).  Just looking forward to using it now...site booked.
