Help! Have got a Bradcot Portico awning that I haven't put up yet. There are two single poles other than the main three sets. Can anyone tell me what they're for?

Hi,

They will probably be for the 2 end sections to open them half way, or for the front conopy.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for that.

They are obviously ground poles as they have got 1 spiked end and 1hooked end. I'll be putting it up tomorrow so I'll soon find out. With a bit of luck there will be a helpul caravanner nearby who won't be able to stop themself from assisting.

Hi,
These two poles are to hold the foam padding tight against the caravan sides.

Make sure you feed the roof poles through the eyes in the down poles before attaching them to the pads that fit to the side of the caravan else you have to take them all out again.
