The handover we recieved was a bit poor. They just showed us what to do (without gas / batt / elec) ,But i just wanted to get it and get on the road. I checked the outside and all the cupboards etc you could tell the water had been tested. I took the chance that they had PDI'd correctly. The only problem was the arial socket it had a wire screwed to the socket, but its only about 15cm long and terminates to an arial connector. It just wasn't plugged together with the connector that connects to the wire to the amplifier.

Oh that's a good idea. We will sleep in it the 1st night, just to check everything works ok (well that's my story and i'm keeping to it lol) we are off to Scotland in August so want to know that everything is as it should be before we go.
I think they will show you everything anyway at the time of pick up and i think from reading posts on here that that will take about 1 1/2 hours.
I can see why you are getting impatient as that's only next week, bet you are getting really excited :)
When i have finished checking it even the OH will be fed up with me bit excited but i don't think i will see the van till June though Pdi etc.
No they offered a good deal but i had to sell the motorhome first so went to discover got a good price for the motorhome of them only have to give them 2 K
Thinking about it Jr offered the earth but so can anyone, talk is cheap and would off had to wait 8 weeks.
fab looking van we looked at them and loved them but have moved off them now we like the 2 bunks oppsite each other now would suit our kids better as they would have more sitting room in the day
Lovely van, we are getting our gt60 in 2 to 3 weeks, getting really excited!!!! Glad you posted pics now I know that the new bedding I bought will match the seats.
what make of wheel lock do you have and is it easy to fit, now that we will have alloys too we can change our lock for something smaller than the big Bull Dog one we have just now which is all rusty and horrible.
We are going to Blair Castle Caravan Site, Blair Athol, Perthshire (it takes tents too).
We go every other year and for the 1st time we will stay for 2 weeks instead of 1 week. My Mum and Dad hire a static and the kids mostly stay with them :)
It is an ideal base for touring the rest of Scotland but as the campsite is so perfect the kids are quite happy to stay there all day long lol. There is a lovely stream with a little sandy area right beside the site, a nice play area with a good sized football pitch or ball games. A lovely little shop and shops in the village with a take away and a lovely pub with a play area for the kids. As you can tell i love the place :)

It fits in the reciever on the caravan chassis (Alko) its easy as it is not very heavy you've just got to remember to line up the wheel so that the reciever is in the middle of a hole in the alloys. I have a problem with mine in that it does not have the fullstop reciever that is in the on the website description so I have asked why it is not in the box.
The tv aerial thing must bailey prob, we got our new ranger 620/6 in december and used it for the first time at easter. the tv wouldn't work when plugged into the tv socket, but would when plugged into the aerial directly! it has a prob with the socket or cable. it's getting sorted at the dealer this weekend, but should have been sorted before we picked it up really!! hope you enjoy the van it looks great!!
Hi Simon, like the van very much. I too have the Excaliber on my Burgundy, its a great bit of kit, much easier to align then the Alco one. When I bought it I found out that the fullstop receiver was an extra £30.
Because it fits in the Alco receiver I didn't think the extra was 30 quid was worth it. It may be different if parking it up against a wall as the receiver is only on the nearside wheel.
Many thanks, Can't wait to go out in it again, we've booked a week at home farm Anglesey for half term. Hopefully i can get the awning out and see how it fits
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
