A whilst back i wrote a post about my new caravan i was due to pick up and the valeter put his finger through the shower tray and then the company that made the plastics went bust so long delay.

We collected a completely new van but same model after complaining.   On the first weekend the plumbing was faulty and an almost full aquaroll was dumped in the front of the van also spraying over the electrics.  Luckily the bedding soaked alot of it up.  saving the van but we phoned the dealer and left it with him to sort out.  We collected it bearing in mind this is an 80 mile round trip each time and took it out again and this time the battery charger does not work when plugged in to mains hook up.   We love the van for it's layout etc but so dissapointed with all it's faults and we are beginning to think this was a friday afternoon van and i'm scared to go out in it coz i'm wondering wots gonna happen next.  We have contacted swift 2 days ago but they have not returned our email.  Anyone had a problem with their swift charisma???

Hi

What a nightmare, I'd find a site a few miles from the dealers, and have a weekend there, that way if anything else goes wrong, they'll be close.

Still it might be a case of third time lucky.

We had a few teething troubles with our Sterling, including a leaking roof flue that hadn't been tightened properly, so we needed some wallboard replacing after 16 months, and the charger (which was apparently a bad batch).

Good Luck

Paul
