Hi Mr / Mrs Fenton,

Saw your entry about the oven - we have bought a van with the same problem, no ignition button and cannot light the oven, previous seller says it was working and to press the igntion button ! Have tried to hold in the orange hi/med/low button and use a BBQ lighter inside the oven, but no joy !!

Did you get a resolve and get a it working ?

Have a look at these pics Click_here , do you have a ignition button inside the door ? .

I can't remember for sure but think you have to have the gas dial in a certain position and pressed in to get the gas coming thro the burner so you can light it . If you can smell the gas you should be able to light it ( obviously don't allow the oven to fill with gas and then try and light it ) .
