yes they are very good and work well from information i have,but as for all pointing the same way this true but a lot do not know there are two ways it can be used.for a main aerial mast like winter hill the position is horizontal,(no comments please) for sub station mast the position for the aerial is vertical.more info here.

The aerial is OK for digital signals.  The "prongs" are for UHF signals in europe; nothing to do with UK TV reception.

The Prongs as you say, on mine I get no reception on the radio unless the Prongs are pulled out are they not for radio reception?.

Sorry to butt in but does anybody know where I can buy one of these "PRONGS",

as I broke one off taking down the ariel forgetting that it was tilted

I only found out by accident when we were getting ready to leave site and I pushed them in then got an earful as shmbo was listening to the radio.
