Welcome - you will soon be hooked to this site, looking for little snippets to make caravanning easier - have fun xx
------------- Bringing up baby to be a seasoned caravanner - we bought one to holiday cheaply - working well so far - & caravanners are lovely - helped us on our virgin voyage & our awning!!!
Have fun at Shamba. We went last August and its a nice site. The kids loved the swimming pool, the shop, the football pitch and play area. I didn't like that you had to put in a code to open the toilet doors though but that the was the only thing i didn't like about it. The showers were lovely and hot and loads of time i went in to the toilets there was a bloke cleaning them lol. No wonder they keep winning awards for the cleanest toilet, i know it's a bloke cleaning them but they were never closed for cleaning which i thought was brilliant because you can bet i always want to go to the toilet 5 mins after they have shut for cleaning for a couple of hours and i hate that. There was also a picnic bench on our pitch which is a nice touch and bricks for the bbq are available.
There is a great tent display and shop just up the road from Shamba too.
We don't normally pay that much for caravanning so won't go back but we enjoyed our stay there.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
