I have just placed my order for a power touch type three mover for £865. Roll on four weeks when it is fitted. I went for this one after seeing advice on here and talking to a local caravan mechanic.
Paid more than that for ours over a year ago but don't regret a penny of it - it's worth its cost and weight several times over for the ease of pitching.
We recently moved pitch from one end of a CC site to the other and the warden suggested we just move using our PowrTouch mover - he'd apparently seen it done before with a little old dear sitting inside the 'van holding the TV and microwave whilst hubby "drove" the caravan over the site!!
We chose to tow but then the mover allowed very easy manoeuvering around a slightly awkwardly placed tree - no stress, no arguements, no back / neck pain just plenty of walking round and making sure we were well clear of any obstacles.
Enjoy your mover when you get it.

Recently had mine fitted and used for first time last weekend, what a difference, so easy to get it exactly where I wanted it and level up. You well never go back to being without!
Had my Powrtouch for over two years now what a boon, used to have help from family or friends to get our van out of and into my garden over the back road and up to the gable end to hitch up. I then made up a winch plate to pull it into the garden. Now with the mover I can get it out and back in again by myself a distance of about 30 yards, Super.

I just can't wait
You maybe waiting a bit longer, I ordered mine on the 22 April and I had a call yesterday saying May 28th it will be fitted. it seems that economic slow down has caused a lot of people to by new vans and have movers fitted.
Where's the logic in that? Economic slowdown - wouldn't that mean they couldn't afford £15k for a van and another nearly £1k for a mover? Wish I had those problems.
Anyway, back to the subject. I had my mover put on last year - I ordered it in March and was told 2 to 3 weeks, chased them after 3 and still had to wait another couple of weeks. There was no economic slowdown then.

It could also depend on who is fitting it. When we fit Reichs or Truma's the supplier(s) send us an invoice 28 days later. But when we fit Powrtouch we have to pay upon collection. So it could be that your fitter might be having cash flow problems, either that or they're just very very slow at fitting Movers...
Powrtouch do have a shaky supply line though and when you order 20-30 units at a time they normally arrive in dribs and drabs of batches of 3-5 at a time.
------------- We have Approved Mobile Workshop Status
had mine fitted a few weeks ago after a lot of phoning from the day of receiving the mover i expected the fitter to ring there seemed to be a mix up regarding the fitter contacting me anyway the lady from powertouch dealt with it and had someone to fit it two days later after i explained i needed it fitted to go away may day weekend very helpful and got a fitter to do it on the thurs before then the other fitter rang me and wanted to do it two weeks away i explained his matehad already fitted it. so he just crossed me off his list
As I'd previously said, ours was fitted over a year ago (thinking about it, it's probably nearer 2 years) but we had the mover sent direct from Powrtouch to the park where our 'van was on a seasonal pitch at the time. The fitter had contacted us to arrange a suitable date and it all happened just fine.
The only "problem" was that it was raining that day and the fitter seemed a little reluctant to leave the warm and dry environment of our caravan (and his cup of coffee) to get out and wriggle under the caravan in the wet!! He did eventually go out and do it, though, and was done within a couple of hours.
We'll definitely have the mover transferred to our next 'van (so long as we don't go and buy a twin axle hulk!!).

Ordered Direct from Powertouch to be fitted by Powertouch so hope it's not cash flow.

Economic Slowdown was meant with tonge inserted in cheek as according to the Caravan Dealers there has been a big improvement in sales based on last years sales as many people are alledgedley not going abroad this year (which coincides perhaps with the increases in membership to the CC & CC& C Clubs) and are buying caravans for the first time in the up to 7k price so dealers were offering incentives for customers to upgrade to get the trade in. A Dealer near me says his forecourt is down between twenty to thirty used vans at the moment because he cannot get enough of good used vans.
