As an ex demonstrator & area rep for Powrwheel, i demo'd a fair few of the jockey wheel type & the hitch type, they do work on the flat or slight inclines, the problems arise when the inclines get too steep or kerbs are hit, then the wheel loses grip & the tyre just spins as theres not enough nose weight to get the traction, but on gravel they are totally useless as is on damp grass etc, so if its solid ground on the flat no problem.
