Been away for a long weekend, tryed van out for first time, we found that when having a shower, the elbow on the mixer was split and leaking water.
Have had a quote for £73 from northan farm at brean, i think it is ridiculas price woulnderd if i could possibly use a bit of araldite on the elbow outlet, not leaking a great deal, Would this be ok or could i use some thing else.

It is not on the head, its on the out let what it screws onto on the mixer itself,I think
they are only plastic but look quite affective. I dont want to put it on if it does not work, or is ther some sort of bonding sealent i could use on it. WITH THANKS

If it's a new van, I'd be taking it back to the dealer and telling them to fix it right away!

If it looks like this, it's easy to replace.

Araldite is not good on some plastics as they are too slippery to get a good bond but you might as well try it. Is it possible to get a cable tie round it to keep it together?
The only other thing I can suggest is Sikaflex 512 or similar polyurathane adhesive/sealant, expensive at £12 a cartridge for the tiny amount you need.
