Hi, is anyone insured by E and L Insurance, I have been getting quotes online and they are very cheap. They don't seem to ask many questions and are nearly half the price of others.

Seems like a really good deal, but is it too good to be true?

I'm concerned about on-line insurance. I recently wanted to insure a second car with SAGA. It was simple to fill in the form, particularly when they asked if I had had an accident within the last 4 years. If I didn't have a car, then I wouldn't have, would I?

When the policy arrived, they had filled it in to show I had a 75% no-claims discount, but if I had an accident I might be asked to prove that I was already getting 75% discount from my current insurers. Remember, I never said I did. If I didn't have a car, then I couldn't, could I?, so the insurance wouldn't pay out. But that was for me to spot, they weren't going to tell me!!!

So I, not too politely cancelled the insurance and went to a broker instead.

So be careful, and in general, if things seem too good to be true, they normally are.

Caravan Guard every time been with them for four years now, we had to make a claim last year and it was spot on no problems.
