Hi everyone and thanks for looking
Were looking for a newish 4 berth van but it must be under 21 ft long so we can fit it on our drive and have a fixed bed (Wifes orders !!!).
Heres a few on our shortlist but can anyone suggest any others. Or if you know of one going cheap lol as we dont want to spend more than £8k
Bailey Ranger GT60 460/4
Bailey Ranger 460/4
Xplore 474
We really like these 3 but the Cheapest we found was £9200 all in.
We may also part/ex our beloved Abi Award Nightstar with mover and awning if we offered the right deal.
Thanks again for reading my post

Well I don't think there is anything wrong with your choice of caravans! The only problem will be finding a used one!
We have a 2008 Ranger 460/4 (now 11months old) which we paid £10,200 brand new including a power touch mover and a few extra's. Friends were looking at buying a similar / same van and couldn't get one 2nd hand at a good price. They are certainly holding their value at the mo' so you may be better off buying new? I don't know what your old Abi is worth, but selling privately and adding the cash to your budget to buy new might be your best bet.
Good luck in your search, hope you find a good deal.
We recently bought a 4 berth fixed bed.
An Abbey Vogue 470.
Like you we have to fit it on the drive. Its 21 foot long.
1300kg fully laden.
Love it!
We moved up from a 2 berth, and although we loved it and it was in super cond. we just wanted to climb into bed at the end of the day instead of having to make it.
Just before all the die hards say lazy b*ggers, we have earned our stripes coming up from a 2 berth ridge tent, domes, through frame tents, to folding campers and now ahhhh luxury!
Its only taken about 50 years!
------------- I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left - Seasick Steve 2008
I have a Adria Altea PX 432 in 2004 which is about 16 foot which I am selling. It has a fixed bed, the seats folds into another twin bed, battery charger, battery, sink, cooker, fridge/freezer, toilet, shower, wash hand basin, awning, remote motor mover etc.
What about a Sprite Alpine 4. Ive just looked and they are just 21feet. I know they are a basic model, but are perfectly adequate. Our first van was a Major 6 and we loved it. You can get a new one for 10 1/2 K. Good look in your search
Hi
You may have found a van by now but if not we are selling our FIXED BED 2007 Sprite Alpine 4 as we have just bought a motorhome. The Sprite is great we used it as a luxury 2 berth.
It has a 4 burner hob spark ignition, grill and oven, 3 way fridge, gas/electric water heater shower, gas/electric blown air CH, blinds/fly screens to all windows, Door fly screen, large roof window with blind as well as the normal kitchen vent (powered fan) Radio CD player carpets to floor not vinyl. Full and porch awning included F.S.History. Its immaculate no pets non-smokers (Bistol area).
You can twist our arm at £8,500 I believe the guarantee is transferable

Broad Lane Leisure at Kenilworth, have just had in a Bailey Ranger 460/4 - they phoned me about an hour ago, but we have managed to get hold of a GT60 instead.
Apparantly the Sprite Alpine 4 is excellent, but I have been told to stay away from the Xplore 474 due to poor customer service.
