Hello all,  I will try and keep this as short as possible.

Last week we bought a Lunar Premiere 516L 5 berth from a private seller.  It is absolutely spotless inside and we did all the checks that the websites advise you do. Unfortunately the feet were down when we checked it and didn't notice the bounce!

We have taken it to be serviced today and it has damp, the floor is coming  away from the chassis.  There is also damp at the front of the van (small amount)  We have been quoted about £700 to get it sorted.  The guy we bought it from says that he has a clear conscience!!  Even though he told us there had been no major repairs and there was no damp (he later admitted he took it to be repaired 2 years ago!)  We paid £2600 for it. The servicer said it would have been like this for some time.

My questions are......

Is it worth repairing? (we never wanted to make money on it, just have a holiday home)

We are booked to go to a site next weekend (approx 150 mile round trip) can we still tow it there?

Will it take a long time to repair?

I have learnt a big lesson from this, BUY from a dealer and get a warranty!!!

Heres hoping you can give me some advice

Fee

xx
