We're having a look at the Bradcots to fit to my twin axle van.
what are the pros and cons of a 3.6M awning? will i be able to pitch it on most sites? will i get charged for 2 pitches? would i be better to settle for a 2.4M

Hi,

We have a 3metre wide awning, I think the standard size is 2.6 and have never had a problem on pitches, occasionally you have to go over the grass a bit if your on hardstanding but no one has ever commented.,

just a lot more room. But harder to put up. I would lov a 3mtr awning but the 2.5 kills me. as you can see on my gallery pic.  it goes up on the 27 of march and stays up all season.

We have a 3m and it gives plenty of room to seat 8 and I can pitch with a bit of help from my 9 and 7yr olds, if I can get them off their bikes! Never been asked about awning size when booking or once pitched by the wardens either

We have a 2.5m  which we use for the longer stays.  We have never been asked the size, although I have read on here that some sites may not accept the wider ones.
