Just back from a weekend away, and after some advice.It took a good few minuteS for cold water to come through tap on the friday, all weekend was fine until this morning. My wife said the water was empty ,and she turned tap straight off. Cant hear any noises from pump, as it gone or have i got a air block, ny tips would be really useful to solve problem, to be honest i never touch the tap , but once last year i tried and i couldnt get it to run then, but wife shoved me in the awning ,then got it running?

Our pump sometimes stops,the pins where the pump plugs in to the van don't always make contact and needed cleaning or opening up a bit.Leave the tap on and give it a wiggle(the pump i mean)and see if it starts.

Could be the tap.

Any time i try to use it , it wont work for me .. but my wife says it always takes a  few minutes to come through. Im wondering when she ran out of water this morning , she sent my son for more water  they have loosened it like you say. Any more easy fix test would be grate ful as we are new to caravanning and dont even know how it works to be honest.

if it ran out of water there is a posibilty the pump has burnt out.if possible find a 12v battery and fix two wires to it.touch each side of the pump terminals and the pump will run.if not its a new one.you do not need to buy the full works you can get just a pump. you can get air locks,if the green light is on and the pump is runnig but no water.remove it from the water and refit.
