We find this website handy for viewing motorway conditions prior to leaving home. We live minutes away from the M4/M5 log jam area so we view it to see what to expect. When we went to Cornwall last, we sat here watching the M5 & left when the traffic eased off.

I even get OH to check areas I need to use for work if there's been a problem there, the pictures are real time.

To view Scotland cameras, just replace England with scotland in the www address. The same applies for Wales.

Thanks BB, we're going to Scotland on the M6 and I am not looking forward to travelling on it, so this will be a help.  Firmly in my Favourites now.
