Hi folks, so unsure about filling fresh water tank in our Abbey expression 470 '2004' model. I have enquired at Abbey Manufacturers, but just doesn't seem rite, so here goes.
Open small hatch above thetford loo hatch, all i see is like a hose pipe, and a solid biggish white pipe, now do i just pour water straight in and around these pipes till it reaches level?
i'm a bit confused ..the picture i get is the filling of the flushing tank on your toilet ...if your enquiring about the internal water tank for your taps it is an entirely different position to find ..usually it is filled via a pump in a barrel on the offside of the caravan and you fill your "fresh" water internal tank from the barrels ..ours takes 2 or more to fill entirely ..but the toilet tank is filled from outside too through a little hatch above the cassette toilet larger hatch ..i hope this helps
Just pour it in till its full.People use different containers to fill with such as watering cans but we use a 10ltr fuel can.You can see a large white tube on ours when you open the hatch.

If you are refering to a small hatch immediatly above the thetford casset toilet compartment then that is the thetford toilet flush water tank
This is flush tank for your thetford. Buy a 5 gal plastic water can - great for stuff such as this. For filling on-board tanks - we had one once which was great, really miss it - use a submersible pump to fill via aqua roll. All on board tanks have a small 12v power supply for the pump.
