Cheers for the link Ratty. Tricia, I had a look at that one, not really suitable for me. However, I hear that there is one up by the crematorium, will suss it out later in the week. I keep my van in Rosneath at the moment, great place though it is a bit out of the way, I would prefer somewhere on or close to the A82

Maybe not far enough north for you, but there is one just outside Bearsden, on the Drymen road. It's a farm place, quite a few vans there now, new fencing installed. Can get the details if you are interested.

Oh thanks very much!!!!!

I never thought of our busy wee village as out of the way, but then again, if it is out of the way for caravan owners, it is also out of the way for those that nick caravans. 17

You have a very good point there Lobey. I find towing the caravan up the Gairlochhead to Arrochar(Loch Long)road is murder if something big is coming the other way. I now use the Haul Road (ex MOD) which is usually quiet and good fun getting up speed to get up the steep hills
