Hi all, a friend of mine has just bought a Swift azzura. it is fitted with 175/13 steel wheels, he has asked is it possible to fit standard car alloys to the caravan or does he have to buy caravan specific wheels. Also wanted to know if he could increase wheel size to 14inch alloys, I have no idea so thought I would ask the kind people on here,,,,,,,,,,,, Cheers Shaun

wouldnt have thought so as caravan alloys are built to take the stresses on having a larger load on 1 axle. also the pcd may be different

if you can find some to fit. check what they are off . they probably are as good .caravans arent very heavy . lok for some van wheels as alot of commercial vans easily carry i,5 ton on an axle. i have a 5ton trailer fitted with bedford cf wheels . look in an indespension cataloge they list pcd and what vehicle the wheels come off. also the weights on the axle.

im sure car wheels alloy are a different shape and the loading is too low.
