hi just returned from trip away in our Elddis Hurricaine.  Before we left fridge worked on 240v and gas. When we arrived at site fridge had started to defrost. Interior light works on electric but fridge would only work on gas. It is an Electrolux RM 4291. Any ideas or advice please.

If it had started to defrost on journey, this suggests your 12v is not working either.

Is your car wired for fridge operation?

For mains operation, or rather the lack of it, first thing to check is the mains element, then the thermostat.

did you actually choose the correct setting ie 12v for on journey over gas for when firing up on gas?
