Just got back from 3 weeks in France. Fabulous time in our Bailey Series 7 Loire. All that is apart from a leaking toilet ! Luckily it was the pink flush fluid that managed to make its way into the bedroom area and not anything that didnt smell as nice. It was caught in time and we think that no serious damaged has been caused but it will be checked when it goes for its first service in a few weeks time.
OH found one of the pump pipelines had worked itself loose and managed to refit that and after a good clean around in the cassette area could not see anything else damaged or broken. But the loose pipe would not be the cause ( I think) of the flooding into the bedroom, but it would be the reason that the cassette area was flooded.
We mentioned this to another Bailey series 7 owner who seemed to recall that there was a known problem with the seal between the cassette and the rest of the Thetford unit that would allow fluid to leak out from the shower/toilet. Unfortunately we cant find anything online so would like to hear if anyone has had a similar problem or know of any recalls that we should be aware of.
Always better to be well informed before I get to the dealer this weekend. And where better to find out than here !!
