Hi all

I am using my Sunncamp 390 "half tunnel tent" proch awning for what is probably the last time over the next two weeks. In the past and in heavy winds the awning has moved along the awning rail slightly and i have had to "pull it back" along the rail a few times.

Has anyone developed a DIY way of preventing this e.g. something like a curtain rail  bracket that expands when tightened might work - any other ideas?

You can buy awning stops at most accessory shops, about a fiver.

You can buy "awning stops" from most caravan accessory shops.  They are about £3 for 2.

cheaper way to do it is to get a bit of pipe and drill a tiny hole in it and put a small bolt on there to hold it still, if it costs more than 5 p each i would be surprised

I bought a pair and found the grub screws were larger than the slot in the rail. A better design would be to have the thread fixed to the stop and a washer and wing nut to tighten it onto the rail.
