so if i dont find a cheap site with elec hook up how do i make the heater work and the oven or lights fridge shower ( if its got one ) oh and i need a telly and my computer cant go no where with out the comp !
will all that run of a battery ? if so how long will my battery last and is it that simple that it all works from a battery or not !!!
not got a generater thing so thats no good
i'm going to buy a caravan and visit my daughter in hampshire for about 6 months so i will neeed to learn quick
The oven and fridge will work off gas, not your battery as they would drain it too quickly. The water heater if the van had one could run off gas as well.
Your 12v battery would run your water pump, lights, tv (if it is a 12v model) and possibly your laptop if you got an invertor. To use the normal 3 pin sockets you would need to have ehu.
No idea how long your battery would last - sorry, although I believe that as tv if used for any length of time could drain it quite quickly.
i do like solar panels as ive got one for my horses elec fence unit so this could be an option , would prefer ehu sites so as not to run battery too much etc !
I wouldn't have thought you would have a problem in getting a site with electric hook-up. It might be more of a problem getting a site ta accept a 6th month booking!
Electric hook up available at most sites, make sure you get an instruction book with anything you buy !!
As for computer, if you need web access your destinations are limited, Im on call 24/7 and have always found a internet cafe or other link point, but it does take a little planing, better to forget the laptop accidentally of course ;-}
