Would be most grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction in finding manuals for my Windrush.  Just bought it with no manuals.  Many thanks.

Hi Warrie,

I've just found your post. I have a 1983 Windrush - a 15/2 model. I have all the documentation for my van. What particular info are you after?

We went to Alsace in Eastern France in ours last month. No problems at all. There are some older photos at www.hawkhurst.f2s.com/caravan

Regards,

John B.

Hi John,

Very many thanks for your email - very impressed with the photos of your Windrush inside and out.  The Wndrush is the first caravan we've ever bought so we are somewhat clueless as to how everything works!!  We bought it from a dealer in Durham via Ebay - we live in Kent.  The caravan came with no manuals at all - so we don't know what documents, if any, originally came with it.  Our Wndrush is a lot smaller than yours - probably the smallest they made.  But we are blessed with a shower and Thetford flush wc.  I feel it would be an enormous imposition to ask you to send me any copies of your documents but if you ever have knowledge of a site I could buy them, I'd be most grateful.  Again, so many thanks for your email and wonderful pictures - we found them really delightful.

Regards Jill (Warrie1)

Hi Jill,

Let me know which particular items you would like first and I'll prepare them. If you go back to look at my site, I have added a 'quill pen' email link. Contact me there and I will send them to you in Adobe .pdf form. Most computers can open them.

What kind of water heater do you have? If it is the copper dome Carver 1, I know someone who can mend them!

I have found I have been able to replace any other faulty item with new, as many are still current.

Unfortunately, my wife is hankering after a new van, so I may have to get rid of ours sometime, reluctantly!

Regards,

John
