The second picture is a 12 volt socket.  Anything electical item that runs on 12v should have a plug on the end which fits into it e.g. a seperate awning light.  Used to have one of these in one of our previous vans.  The only thing I can think of for 'N AND P' is negative and positive.  The plugs are available from most caravan spares shop.  Can't work out what the first picture is.

Have you been able to trace the wires back to find out where they lead to.

I'm sure there is someone on here that will know better than I.

I suspect they are things added by a previous owner so wouldn't be in the manual. I had a 1991 Ace Pioneer and don't recognise the first but the second is a 12volt.

There have been quite a few different types of 12 volt sockets over the years. If you have problems getting a plug, just change the socket to a different type that you can get a plug for.

Either way, I would try & trace the wiring & make sure it is properly fused and installed. Dodgy DIY wiring is a big cause of fires.

Silly question, but do you actually need 12 volt power for anything. I just use 240volt mains equipment on electric hookup.

right ive just been and investigated further.

there is a black/red stripe wire and a brown / white striped wire coming from the back of it.

then with little blue junction box's they are joined to another wire that is blue/white and they then lead to one of the two pin sockets like the one in the obove pic.that 's 3 of them i have found now.i have been looking on verious places and i can get an adaptor that fits into the 12v two pin socket that converts into a cig lighter so that could be good if they work.
