Help!  Our Omnistor awning won't wind out!  We have just used our caravan for the first time this week and all was brilliant except we couldn't get the awning to roll out.  Grrrrr!  The chap at Elite Caravan showed us how to use it and it worked fine.

But when we tried...one side wound out and the other, the end that the handle fits into wouldn't budge.

Does anyone have any suggestions?  We live quite far from Elite so reluctant to go back to get it looked at if there is a simple solution.

Thanks!

Hi Jaysere

Thanks for your reply.  Yes, we tried pulling it out and wobbling it - which is what Elite suggested when we rang them.  Nothing would budge the stuck side.  It doesn't look as if it is bulging.

Any other ideas anybody?!

My old man has an omnistor on his motor home. Be carefull you do not snap the drive on it like he did, especially if you are having trouble with it. Sorry, they never had any trouble with it sticking though. Unfortunately if it is the one they have, spare parts are no longer available either.

Thanks for that.  We went to storage site this morning and got it unstuck but hubby has found a broken catch to be the problem.  We are going to take it to Elite so hopefully this part is still available.
