Can anyone help please.

This weekend, tried to use the room heater on gas (we didn't have ehu) it would not ignite, there was no clicking from the igniter but we checked the battery and know it is good. When we got home we tried it and it was still the same.

We also tried it on electric and it won't heat up with that either, although the green light is on, on the wall dial, it's always been o.k before..

Think we must have two problems, we would be grateful for any ideas as we are going away again in a couple of days and no time to take it to get it looked at.

Just add it's only two years old.

Hi, I had the same problem and it was the starter box thingy. I ordered one on the internet which cost about £55.00 and changed it myself as it was very easy. (its the black box that the batteries go into)

Thanks Baz, o.h.tested the box and sure enough it appeared faulty.

It is still under warranty so o.h. popped into dealer and got a new one, works fine now,
