Anyone got one of these? Are they easy to put up? Would you buy another?

Advice please I'm thinking of buying the 320 x 320 version but I have TERRIBLE luck with awnings and I really don't want to make another mistake!

Advice greatly appreciated

D

Yep, I've got one. bought it a couple of months ago and think I paid £175.

Really easy awning to put up and Sunncamp seemed to have learnt from the Utima and have made the "flaps" a lot bigger so that it fits against the 'van really well flap with the slightest bit of wind.

Took it down today after a very wet and windy weekend in Northumberland and it held up well with no problems!

Only criticism would be, not enough pegging points and you cannot peg the skirt down (nothing ten minutes with an eyelet machine wouldn't fix)

Hi Dave,we have the smaller Vison and find it great for weekends and you can peg the skirt down. The nice thing is if its still wet when you take it down just roll it up and put it in a bin liner, ours cost £130 last year.My only problem is the draft skirt isn't long enough for a twin axel van,but very easy to put up even by yourself.

There are 3 sets of poles which are linked together with elastic.

The door is at the front and windows at the side have vents above as they do not open. Also has 4 guide ropes.

It arrived this morning. I was going to put it up this aft as the van is on the drive but its hissing down so it will have to wait until we go away on 12th Sept.

Looked a cynch when the guy on the next pitch put one up 2 weeks ago.

Just found this post after searching for info on the sunncamp vision XL, how did you get on with it dave8858?, thinking of buying one for us.

Any other views would also be greatly appreciated.
